As the father of quite a few kids, over the years, one of my jobs has been to lend a friendly ear to my many kids, to listen and attempt to help during challenging times.
From the giddy times of self discovery when an infant progresses through the years until he/she reaches the uncompromising age of a teenager to the time of adulthood when all of a sudden, parents discover that their kids are no longer children.
As any parent will know, it is not always easy to patch the generation gap and as a result, in the process of writing for this blog, I have often wondered if my experience was one sided.
How do the young really feel about matters of the heart?
And so I asked one of my daughters, Betsy, a thirty year old vibrant young woman what she thought about this topic and lo and behold she agreed to write a few articles.
